It’s summertime again and we hope you’re ready for some exciting activities! New for just this year, our program will have two supervisors, Brianna Coughlin, and Elizabeth Schanz. Brianna has been the Youth Director in the past and Elizabeth is a prior youth counselor and very familiar with the youth director role.

There is a detailed calendar attached as well as a permission slip for the park program.
*The permission slip for the park must be filled out completely, whether your child attends the park daily or once in a while. The calendar is subject to change!

The park is a great place for children 5 and up to come meet new kids, hang out with friends, and play lots of games. Children four and younger will require their own parental supervision unless told otherwise. Our first concern is the safety of all children regardless of age.

This summer the park program runs daily from Monday, July 7th to Tuesday, August 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ganser- Smith Park. Please do not bring your child for drop off before 9 a.m. and please be there for pick up at 12:00 p.m. There is no supervision before 9:00. The park program is subject to close under our discretion due to weather. We will also put out a message on facebook if the program will be closed for the day (Page:Village of Menands). Please know that all children are required to sign in and out whenever they attend the park program.

A quick reminder for everyone regarding daily activity: We would recommend that all children bring with them a drink, snack, sunscreen, and a towel. If you want to bring a plastic cup you can leave it at the park with your name on it so you have it every day. Please do not bring glass. Although there are days that we have snacks and drinks, they are not provided daily.
