Menands Senior Update November 9, 2022

Debbie Teitsch, is now accepting dues for 2023.  To renew, come to any Thursday gathering or renew by mail.  Debbie’s address is 3 Cornell Drive, Menands, NY  12204.  Dues are still only $5

11/15/2022, bus leaves Ganser-Smith Park for Turning Stone @ 7:30 am return approximately 6:00 pm.

11/17/2022, November Business Meeting, “Popeye’s” Nonagenarian Lunch.  People over age 90, eat free.  Sign up and pay by 11/12/22, please.

Darren Truax, Case Manager, Catholic Charities, Senior and Care Givers Support. Darren’s talk is “Dealing with Stress During the Holidays.”

Our Senior Tree’, purchased last year, will again be decorated and displayed in the “Village Festival of Trees.”  New ornaments were purchased, but we need volunteers to decorate our tree 12/4/2022, @ 2:00pm.  If you can spare an hour that Sunday, please come and join the fun.

12/1/2022 Annual Holiday Party, Joseph E. Zaloga Post, Everett Road, Albany, NY.  Prime Rib or Stuffed Sole.  Music by Paul Sluzar, Optional $10. 12/18/2022, Join us for “The Melodies of Christmas” Proctor’s, Schenectady to benefit the children at Albany Medical Center.  We will leave Ganser-Smith Park, Menands Road, at 12:00 noon heading to Ill Faro Restaurant, Menands for an Italian Sunday dinner before the show.  After dinner we will go to the 3:00 pm complete holiday show.  Cost for dinner and show is $65.  If interested, please call or email me.  Diane Leonard, 518-465-3771 or diwewe@yahoo.com.
