Through Local Law 1 of 2023, the Village of Menands repealed Chapter 169, “Zoning Law” and replaced it with a new Chapter 169, “Zoning Law.” The new Zoning Law enhanced the form-based code regulations, amended allowable uses and associated project review procedures, revised definitions, integrated other Village Code chapters, amended Zoning District boundaries, added complete streets requirements and bicycle parking standards, and included additional procedural revisions and an overall cleanup of the law.
